Well, that, and my acceptance letter to Hogwarts. I mean, REALLY. Haven't I waited long enough?!
♥♥♥
ReplyDeleteSonia, I LOVE it.
And seriously. Hogwarts letters? UGH. I think they must have sent them with bloody Errol.
I WANT MINE NOOOOOW! *CRIES*
... which means I am absolutely, 179% FREE? Because Brodie hires servants to do her bidding while she rests on the hands of 10 minions wearing golden gloves. She does not build her own walls, therefore she HAS no walls, therefore the entire universe is open to her, THEREFORE SHE OWNS THE UNIVERSE?
ReplyDeleteBut on a less serious note, SONIA. I LOVE THIS. AND IT IS SO. SO TRUE. I've come to realise that so much lately, and you just have to reach that point where you nail your hands to the floor to stop building those damn walls. Because you DON'T need them and they only give you an egg on your head when you run into them.
You know, my dad told me this once and it's stuck ever since because it's SOOO TRUE! You're the only person who can put a limit to what you can do. It's hard sometimes because you forget. We listen to what everyone has to say but we ignore the fact that at the end of the day, it is YOU who has the power to do whatever it is that you want to do.
ReplyDeleteI really, really, really LOVE this post! It's such a great message!
How true is that?! Another great Blogspiration pick, Sonia!
ReplyDeletePS. I have been waiting for my letter for YEARS! It must have been delayed along the way. ;)
This is such a wonderous quote- thank you, thank you, thank you for posting it! I love this quote and hope never to forget it, because it's just so true.
ReplyDeleteIt's a sad truth, but I think the Hogwarts Owls need to be checked- I'm still waiting too! Snap!
Whoa. This is such a simple sentence. But there's so much in it. I kinda think I need to meditate on it for a while :-)
