Unraveling Isobel by Eileen Cook

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Breaking the Spine. The purpose of the event is to spotlight the upcoming releases that readers are most looking forward to.

This week, I've chosen...

Unraveling Isobel by Eileen Cook
Add it: Goodreads
Publisher: Simon Pulse
Release Date: January 3, 2012

Isobel’s life is falling apart. Her mom just married some guy she met on the internet only three months before, and is moving them to his sprawling, gothic mansion off the coast of nowhere. Goodbye, best friend. Goodbye, social life. Hello, icky new stepfather, crunchy granola town, and unbelievably good-looking, officially off-limits stepbrother.

But on her first night in her new home, Isobel starts to fear that it isn’t only her life that’s unraveling—her sanity might be giving way too. Because either Isobel is losing her mind, just like her artist father did before her, or she’s seeing ghosts. Either way, Isobel’s fast on her way to being the talk of the town for all the wrong reasons.
This sounds really interesting!* Drastic life changes and then sudden ghost appearances? I could go for that. The cover is pretty cool as well, I like how the swirls wind around her body.

* Okay, I know I say the word INTERESTING like every other sentence on this blog, but I'm serious. I guess I'm just easily intrigued.

What are you waiting on this Wednesday?

  5. GHOSTS! That's an instant hook for me. Oh and not to mention the sexy off-limits stepbrother. I love me some forbidden romance. But back to the ghosts. I also love those books where ones sanity is questioned (I think it's because I can relate to the protagonist...) Can't wait for this!
