Who's ready for The Fiery Heart? I AM!!! I couldn't be more excited, just thinking about it gets me giddy! I'm not sure if I'll be reviewing The Indigo Spell just because I might be repeating a lot of what I've already said in other reviews for the series but I may change my mind. Would any of you care to see a review?

But back to the cover! Red/orange for fire... see, I get it ;) Sydney's looking so much more fierce than at the beginning of the series which totally matches up with her progress in the novel. Go Sydney! What do you think of the cover?

Cover Reveal: Dare You To

The cover for Dare You To by Katie McGarry, sequel/companion novel to the popular Pushing the Limits  was revealed yesterday by Harlequin Teen on their Facebook page. What do you think?

Well, that is certainly one hot cover ;) It kind of reminds me of the covers of Rules of Attraction and Chain Reaction (aaand I'm going to stop comparing these books any day now!). I definitely like the tones in this cover more than I did in the one for Pushing the Limits. I can't wait! I really enjoyed the first book and I'm looking forward to another powerful read. Cover Reveal: Dark Triumph

The cover for Dark Triumph, sequel to the brilliant Grave Mercy was recently released. Have you seen it yet?

 

Whew, that is one beautiful cover! I always worry in a series where I love the first book's cover that the rest won't match up to expectations but this one does not disappoint. The cover model totally reminds me of the type of expression/body language that Sybella would have from the little I know of her and I just like... everything. Be sure to add Dark Triumph on Goodreads!

Cover Reveal: Mind Games

All of the colours are blended together beautifully. This could have very easily turned out completely wrong but all the blending and overlay and shadows... just perfect. And I love Kiersten White's new bio on the back flap, haha. As sad as I'll be to see the Paranormalcy series go, I can't WAIT for Kiersten White's new endeavour. The Pretty New Cover!



Is it not gorgeous? I've loved all of the covers for this series -- they're simple yet still so elegant-looking -- and I really like this one too. The whole transition from in the bubble to smashing the bubble to out of the bubble... wooooo, Cassia! Of course, I have yet to read Crossed, despite owning it, but that's a tale for another time.

May is... amazing. She's kind of crazy and talks about writing 97% of the day and when she gets excited about something, she's kind of an unstoppable force but I love her. She is without a doubt the most sincerely sweet person you will ever meet and she's just awesome in general.

The Obligatory Explanation!

I feel like I've been absent lately. Not just from posting but from commenting and just interacting in general. I'm sorry. I really do miss it. Talking to you guys is, without a doubt, my favourite part of blogging.

Recently, I've been sick and in a very serious relationship with my blanket and multiple boxes of tissues. I'm hopeful that we're on the verge of a break-up but... I'm pretty irresistable.

I won't even get started on my school work because I would really rather not think about the 2 tests, 2 presentations and 1 project I have due for Monday. Spring Break is coming up (so soon!) though so I'll be able to catch up on talking to all of you lovely people then :)

Do you like it? I do! It reminds me a lot of the first book's cover but all of the covers for the series have that really similar theme going. I am so excited to read this and hopefully read some kissing scenes with Cassian. I loved Firelight and Vanish so hopefully this book will end the series on a high note.

So, while aimlessly wandering around the Internet a few minutes ago, I stumbled upon THIS pretty picture. What? COULD IT BE the cover for...

I mean, okay sure, we have to wait until May 8th for this one but big deal, right? I can do it! I've waited for Cassie's books before! It's not like this will be AGONIZINGLY PAINFUL. It's not like I'll spend my time going, "CAN I HAVE IT NOW PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE?"

At least we have a pretty cover to tide us over. I like how vibrant Clary appears on the cover in comparison to most of the other things. Jace looks a lot better to me on this cover than he did on City of Bones (I mean, he was fine there but a little too... mature-looking... for my tastes).

Who's ready to see the cover for Chosen Ones by Tiffany Truitt?

Pretty, isn't it? :) Chosen Ones is slated to be released around April 2012, bur that is subject to change. It's being published by Entangled Publishing and is the first in a YA dystopian series.

Anyways, back to the gorgeous cover! I LOVE it. Purple is my favourite colour and I love that dress and Evie's hair is still super cool. Plus, is that a SMILE on her face? Yay happiness! I am so, so excited for this book. I absolutely adored Paranormalcy and Supernaturally so hopefully this conclusion will end on a high note as well. I have full confidence in Kiersten :)

I'm so excited to be part of the cover reveal for the upcoming novel TOUCH by Jus Accardo. The novel sounds pretty intense and I think the cover really matches that.

Touch will be released November 1, 2011 from Entangled Publishing.

Cover Revealed: A Million Suns by Beth Revis

Okay, so I actually don't have a clue when this cover was revealed. I can't seem to find it on Beth's blog but I just saw it on Goodreads so I thought I would go ahead and share it with you. Here is the cover of the sequel to Across the Universe, A Million Suns:

A Million Suns will be released January 10th, 2012 by Razorbill.

I really like this cover! I think it matches the first one with all of the dazzling sparkles but it also manages to look different. I am so excited to read this book - I read the first one recently and I thought it was awesome. Maybe I'll post the review today? I don't know - I'm kind of all over the place right now. Anyways, hope you like the cover! I'd love to hear your thoughts on it.  

Cover Revealed: The Iron Knight by Julie Kagawa

Earlier today, Julie Kagawa revealed the cover for her upcoming novel, The Iron Knight on her blog. Just in case you missed the reveal, here is the final cover!

The Iron Knight will be released October 25th by Harlequin.

WOAH. *sigh* Wow. *sigh* This is definitely a cover that induces 'wow's and sighs - I lovelovelove it! I love the blues that were used and the fonts and the swirls... it's all so pretty. I think this is my favourite cover for Julie's books yet - and that's saying quite a bit! Kudos to the art department over at Harlequin - keep doing what you're doing!

Cover Revealed: Clockwork Prince by Cassandra Clare

This morning, Mundie Moms revealed the cover for the upcoming Clockwork Prince by Cassandra Clare, the sequel to Clockwork Angel. I loved the first book and have high hopes for the second (especially since Jem will be playing a more prominent role!). I love it! Honestly, I have adored every single cover of Cassandra Clare's books and this one may just be my favourite yet. I think I'll have to wait until I can actually hold the book in my hands to see but - it's Jem! JEM! It matches very well with the Clockwork Angel, a cover which I also loved. I think the only problem with Clockwork Princess will be that I won't have a cute cover boy staring up at me! Jem is.. just what I pictured him as. Perfect!

Cover Revealed: Silence by Becca Fitzpatrick

Earlier today, Hollywood Crush revealed the cover for the upcoming Silence by Becca Fitzpatrick, the final book in her Hush, Hush saga. Now, I haven't gotten the chance to read the second book, Crescendo yet, but I loved the first one and I'm sure the rest of the series will be great as well! Woah! Is that not a gorgeous cover? I love all the book designs in this series and I'm so glad they were consistent with the dark tones. I think it's fitting that the first book has Patch, the second has Nora and the third and final one has them together - hopefully that means everything works out!
